Jesus gave his life to set us apart for his mission. If we want to make a difference we must be different. This difference comes from our time in God's Word. As we commune with the author we begin to surrender to our role in the plot of the story. It is all about the Father's glory through Jesus. When we see the beauty of the gospel in the person and work of Jesus, we will give everything to know him and make him known. Jesus prays this mighty prayer as he goes to the cross. We are an answer to his prayer when we allow him to live and love through us. Are you experience the power of Jesus answered prayer in your life? "Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent." This is life! Some people think that they have to wait until heaven to experience life. But we don't! We can experience life in this world, not through this world, but through Jesus! He gave His life to give us life! And He wants us to live our lives to the fullest here on this earth! We have been sent into the brokenness of this world we live in. But we've been equipped for it. Jesus has given us light to fight the darkness! He's given us healing that can heal any broken heart! He's given us Himself! He has shown us the way, the truth, and the life! This is the life! He wants us to know Him! If we know Him, we know life, for He is life! He gives us opportunity every day to serve Him, know Him, and to proclaim Him! Are you letting those opportunities slide by, or are you letting God use your life?
