July 31, 2018 John Chapter 7

During His lifetime Jesus' brothers didn't believe in Him, but they wanted to use His popularity for their own glory. Their pride tried to push Jesus toward the spotlight, but Jesus knew His time for the attention of the world would be on the cross.
The human heart will seek praise and fame all the time unless it is connected to its Creator. Jesus intimcai with the Father freed Him from bondage to people's  opinions.
Are you free to take up your cross and live a life of sacrificial service to God and others?

    "Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." This is God, pouring Himself into our hearts and minds and lives so that we can live a life with Him! That living water that He gives us should flow out of us too, into the hearts and minds and lives of those around us! We carry the message, the truth, the hope, the Light! The Light is Jesus! And He has put His light inside of us! We are witnesses to the power and love of our great God! We have seen wth our own eyes the transformation that only God can do, both inside of us and through us! He doesn't need us to accomplish His plan. But He lets us be a part of it because HE LOVES US!!! He wants a relationship with us! With me! With you! Let Him put that light inside your heart and let Him lead! I have no doubt that He will do amazing things!
