July 29, 2018 John chapter 5

With this question, Jesus reveals the condition of the man's heart. His hope had died. He was in despair and darkness, feeling that nothing would ever change. He felt stuck. Sometimes our pain becomes our identity. When this happens, we miss Jesus' power and presence right there with us. The one who raises the dead can accomplish what concerns us today. Do you want to change? Do you want to be set free? Do you believe your best days are ahead? Listen Jesus is asking you today to trust Him!

    Jesus has the power to heal! He has the power to open the eyes of the blind! He has the power to let the lame walk! He has the power to RAISE THE DEAD TO LIFE!!! And He has the authority! He is the one and only Son of God! And He loves! His love reaches farther than our sin! He loves us so much that He gave us a second chance! A second chance to choose Him, to choose light, to choose life! Have you chosen it? He is able and willing and longing to bring you out of the prison of yourself and into the life inside Himself! You won't ever find life anywhere else but in Jesus! He's reaching out to you in your death! He wants to give you this life, because He knows that if you don't have it, you are lost. Broken. Hurting. Tired. Weak. Hungry for satisfaction. But without Him, you won't find it. He is life, and He gave Himself to us! Do you have this life?
