July 25, 2018 John chapter 1

Jesus left heaven to show us the Father. He came to show us what humanity was meant to be. He accomplished the work of redemption so that he might live inside of us. He sends us on mission to incarnate his presence. Do you see the Father in Jesus? Have you accepted his Indwelling presence? Are you joining him on mission?

    "The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us." Wow! Jesus left all of His glory in heaven to come down to this broken world! He became fully human, yet He was still fully God! He left heaven for us! That's amazing love! Jesus was a human like us! He went through life like we do! He felt pain like we do! He did it all for us! So that we can know the truth, that there is a God who will not let us go, who wants to call us His children! Jesus is the only way. Many people believe that there are many ways to life, but there aren't. There's only one. That's Jesus. That's why He came, to show us what life is on earth and to tell us of what life is like in heaven. This is why He came for us. He didn't want to let us go.
