July 17, 2018 Luke CHAPTER 17
Everything we have comes from God. We should be living lives of perpetual gratitude. It is so easy to enjoy God's good gifts and forget where they came from. We have all been cleansed from the leprosy of sin. Have you said thank you today? Gratitude will set you apart as one who knows how much they have received. This will make you shine bright in a world of prideful self absorption. Be weird today...be grateful!
Don't look back! When Lot and his family left Sodom, God told them not to look back. But Lot's wife looked back... God has called us. His calling is greater than any other calling from this world. His calling has a purpose. His calling is powerful. His calling is real. But are we going to follow Him? God calls us to life right now! We don't need to worry about the future or regret the past! The past is already gone! Through Jesus' blood, our past doesn't matter anymore! We are forgiven for anything we've done! As for the future, it's all under God's control! He knows what's gonna happen tomorrow, next week, next year, and it's all His plan! So don't look back! The past is behind you; leave it there. Embrace the new life offered to you in Jesus!
