July 12, 2018 Luke CHAPTER 12
Jesus warns against holding on to the wrong kind of treasure. He also promises unlimited eternal riches to those who would trust God enough to invest all they have in His Kingdom now. Money and stuff, comfort and convenience...it is so easy to live for the moment. King Jesus is inviting us to a deeper kind of life...a life that blesses others and finds joy in giving. Are you enjoying life the right way?
What is of more worth? The world and what it has to give or the kingdom of heaven and the church! My focus when I read this chapter was on the Kingdom of HEaven. The church of christ is given the greatest gift any one can recieve and the most highest point of property in life! I struggle in my daily life to see the eternal in everything. Only the souls of man and the Word of God. That could just be the kingdom of God. Living for God is worth, sacrificing to him is worth it. Dying for him is worth it. Live like Jesus not like in actor. know the truth about Life and live like it's real.... because it is. The kingdom doors are wide open. But it's your choose to walk through them, by the life you choose to live and the god( or God) you choose to serve.

When we focus on Jesus and realize that He is all that really matter in our lives and hearts, we begin to understand that we don't need anything that you can find in this world! It won't satisfy us! Because there is a longing deep down inside of our hearts that only Jesus can fill!
DeleteI love verse 12, when Jesus says, "for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say." God has been teaching me that the life He wants me to live is a life of surrender. A life where I know I have no control and acknowledge that He has all control! This verse is how we should not only speak, but live our lives! This should be our prayer, day after day, "Lord, live through me! Shine Your light through me! Speak through me! Act through me! Reveal Your glory through me!" He has offered us more than just an undeserved partnership with Him; He has given us a real relationship with Him! He wants us to want that relationship! When we choose in our hearts to follow Him and yield our lives to Him, He will show His power and authority in ways we never even imagined! When we love Him, He will work through us! He doesn't need us at all! But He chooses to let us be a part of His perfect plan for redemption of the whole world! It's not easy to let go and surrender. But I tell you this: it is worth it! Every moment with God is a moment of life! And every moment without does not matter.
