June 4, 2018 MATTHEW CHAPTER 17
Peter interrupted this incredible revelation with his own ideas and worship strategy. He wanted to build something instead of just be in awe of King Jesus. The Father then redirected Peter's attention to Jesus power and presence.
Worship is not where you are but who you are in response to who He is!
May we never be content to confine Jesus to a place that we construct.
Where have you been putting God "in a box" recently?
Can't wait to see you all at our next "One Another Gathering" on Wednesday! We need each other to see more of Him!

Jesus says that nothing is impossible with faith. You can put your hope and trust in anything or anyone, but they will all fail. Except God. When Jesus went to the cross to die for us, He had faith. He knew it was going to be hard and painful, but He trusted that His Father had a plan. He trusted that His Father knew what He was doing, that He was in control. And His Father did not let Him down. God is our Father too! That's why Jesus died, to redeem us and make us family! When we have faith that our Father can move mountains and part the sea, nothing is impossible. He is the one and only God who can raise the dead to life, calm the storms, walk on water, and heal any brokenness! He is who we serve and live our lives as a witness for! With Him, anything is possible!
