Jesus is calling. Do you hear Him? He is calling you out from the crowd to Himself. He is inviting you to intimacy. What an amazing invitation! Any power and purpose that we have for the Kingdom must overflow from our time with (TW) the King! While you commune with Him He will "twelve" you and launch you with power to proclaim freedom to a world imprisoned by sin. Have you sensed Him doing this in and through you? Has He "twelved" you...put in a community with other disciples to live out the gospel together? Are you intentionally pursuing the hurting and lost together for their good and His glory? This is the inflow (intimacy with King Jesus and other Christ followers) and overflow (service and mission in the world) that will bring a life of fruitfulness. You are loved and you have been sent!
Jesus defines family not as who you are related to, but who you serve and live with! Because Jesus gave His LIFE on the cross so that we could all be family! It reminds me of John 17:21 when Jesus asks God that all followers may be one. God wants us to live a life in unity! Helping one another and loving one another and serving one another and helping one another grow and praying for one another! You can't do any of those on your own! You have to reach out... Reach out into this broken dark world with the light of Jesus. God will use you in ways unimaginable if you are willing!
