Satan starts his tempting by questioning Jesus' identity. Jesus is prepared.

The Father has just said, "This is my Son, whom I love and with whom I am well pleased." Jesus rested in this truth and knew that it was enough!

Although he had been fasting from food, Jesus had been feasting on God's Word!
